Background on The Human Rights Enigma Program
"The Human Rights Enigma" (1996) was shot for and distributed on New York Cable and shown in parts of Europe. The show commemorated the 50th Anniversary of the UN. Stewart Rein wrote, produced, directed and hosted. Mr. Rein won a Producer's Grant Award for the series from Manhattan Cable (Time Warner). The excerpts reproduced here are part of what was covered with respect to the human rights of children seen in a global, civil and natural law perspective.
